Lode Star Magazine

Lode Star has been delivered free to every house in Lode and Longmeadow since January 1977. The vicar of St James' Church at the time was the Revd. Malory Makower who got a group together to produce a monthly newsletter. Susan Swannell took on the task of typing and duplicating the magazine from the start and has produced every issue since then, although now it is commercially printed.
